Missions & Outreach

The Mission and Outreach Committee of Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church provides financial, physical and spiritual support to those in need by faithfully administering the personal commitments and financial contributions of the congregation, in accordance with the instructions of our Lord Jesus Christ to feed his people and to make disciples of them.

Food Pantries - Local food pantries are experiencing a shortage of food supplies.  The current economic problems and the high cost of fuel are forcing more families to turn to food pantries.  Donations are generally down in summer.  Please remember them and bring non-perishables to the cabinet in the church hallway.  We will deliver or you can drop off a bag or two at one of the numerous food pantries in the community, some listed below among the organizations we support.
