WELCOME TO THOMPSON MEMORIAL
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH!
“We are a joyful family
called by God through Jesus Christ and
empowered by the Holy Spirit to:
welcome all, share our faith, love each other, serve the world
and Glorify God.”
All Are Welcome!
LIFTED- Please join us this week as we continue our exploration of The Lord's Prayer. Pastor Spencer will share the message which examines, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." We say the words each day, but what do they really mean? In these times of financial hardship, it is easy to take the words at face value. But what is the true meaning? Come learn more and worship with The Lifted Team as they lead us in wonderful contemporary Christian songs, a time of confession and the sharing of how we see God working in our lives. Football is over, so Sunday at 5:00 is a great time to come together with fellow members of our Thompson family. We look forward to seeing you there, and stay for pizza at 6:00 if you are hungry!

LADIES, MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND GATHER YOUR PURSES! On March 3rd,Thompson Memorial Church will be hosting another Women’s Breakfast and Purse Party! On the morning of the breakfast, we’ll enjoy some good food, shop for purses and hear an update on the work of the Change Purse organization. It’s been one year since the organization got started... come hear how your donations from last year, both purses and dollars, went to help the victims of Human Trafficking as they find safety and rehabilitation from this horrific industry. Please invite your moms, daughters and girlfriends and join us for this fun event! Look for a box outside of Fellowship Hall where you can bring your donated purses by March 2nd. We are also looking for volunteers to organize the purses for the party before the event, volunteers to help set up the purses early on the 3rd, and also a few people to volunteer to “check out” the purse purchases at the end of the purse party. Please email Melissa Michael if you can help! Sign up at the Table of Well Wishing if you plan to attend the breakfast. You can also contact Jo Ann Alberts. This event was a huge success last year so we hope you can join us again.
WOMEN’S RETREAT - MARCH 16thAND 17th- Pour a Fresh Cup! Come be refreshed in the new year as we spend time together for a quiet night away at Villa Pauline in Mendham, NJ. We will be examining our lives using the metaphor of our lives as a cup in three ways—the cup of fellowship, that favorite old cup, and the cracked cup, that only Christ can fill. Start looking around now for a cup that somehow represents YOU, you'll be giving it away at the retreat! Contact Judy Marth or Debbie Heffernan for more information.
