Design Concepts

These beautiful concepts are just that, concepts.

The end product may look different, but this is how our space could look. At this stage of the work, formal architectural designs are in process and subject to change based on fundraising and functionality.

Phase 1 to Phase 2 FAQ

Over the past several months, we have been undergoing construction to create a space that serves not just us, but our community at large.
We are moving from Phase 1 of renovations, which impacted our classrooms and Lower Level spaces, into Phase 2 of renovations, which includes Fellowship Hall, the kitchen, the conference room, and office spaces. Below, you will find some helpful information on what to expect as we transition from Phase 1 to Phase 2.

Where will my group meet?
Each small group and ministry is an individual entity; therefore, it is challenging to paint all groups with a broad stroke. Our staff has met to review each group's needs, the church calendar, and the available spaces to ensure that every group can continue to meet during Phase 2. The office has been in contact with small group leaders regarding the location and schedule for their group meetings. If you have any further questions, please contact the church office at office@tmpc.org.
What bathrooms will be available during Phase 2?
The only bathroom that cannot be used during Phase 2 is the single-occupancy bathroom located next to the Conference Room. All other bathrooms, including new bathrooms in our Lower Level and Kids Ministry space, will be available for use.
Where can I park?
All parking lots will remain open during Phase 2 renovation.
What entrances are available during Phase 2?
  • Due to construction, the entrance in the upper parking lot and the stained glass doors leading to the courtyard will be closed.
  • All doors that lead to the Atrium, the red doors that lead into the Sanctuary, and the newly installed office entrance will be available during Phase 2 renovations.
    • If you have a small group, meeting, practice, or other event at TMPC, please use the Atrium entrances or Lower Level office entrance.
    • If you are coming to worship on Sundays, please use the Atrium entrances or the red doors that lead into the Sanctuary.
Where is worship being held?
Beginning Sunday, September 21st, the 9 AM Traditional and 11 AM Contemporary worship services will be held in the Sanctuary.
Where is the fully accessible entrance?
The Lower Level office entrance will be fully accessible.
Can I use the elevator? Will the ramp still be available for use in the atrium?
The elevator and ramp in the atrium will be available during Phase 2.
Will the kitchen be available for use?
The kitchen will be renovated as part of Phase 2 and will therefore not be available for use until the project is complete. A small kitchenette with a coffee maker will be available for use on the Lower Level.
Where will the offices be?
During Phase 1, we completed our Lower Level office suite and will move into those newly renovated spaces the week of September 22nd - 26th.

Phase 1 Updates: Hallway Closure

As of June 2nd 2025, construction on our building has begun. The builders have started working on the lower level and classrooms. Therefore, the hallway starting at the chapel through the Choir Room is closed.

This phase of construction is projected to last from now until September.
As of June 2nd, the Sanctuary will now be accessible:

  • through the glass atrium doors from the Choir lot (labeled "atrium")
  • through the glass atrium doors from the courtyard (this entrance is handicap accessible, entrance labeled "fully accessible entrance")
  • through the red doors into the Sanctuary (labeled "red doors")

We will have a ramp set up inside the atrium for those who need it to access the Sanctuary. To reiterate, you will not be able to access the Sanctuary through the inside hallway; instead, you will have to walk around outside.
